Unfortunately in life you can’t always guarantee to be there for the people who depend on you most. Therefore if you are a Reservist, a serving member of the Army, Royal Navy or Royal Air Force it’s right to have the best life insurance available to protect your loved ones.

How much should I be insured for?

This product could be for you if you want to leave a fixed lump sum if you were to die while the policy is in force. The amount you choose to be insured for can be anything up to £200,000. This amount should be based on the amount you need to help ensure your loved ones are financially secure if you die. It is your decision whether or not to take out this insurance.

Why SLI365
life insurance
is a good choice

SLI365 has been designed specifically to provide the cover to suit the unique lifestyle of the Regulars or Reserves of HM Forces. It is the only life insurance policy that is available under contract with the MOD. It ensures you will be automatically covered whilst on active military duties - home or abroad. And even if you decide to leave HM Forces, SLI365 will continue to cover you for the same monthly premium.

Important information about our military life insurance policy:

  • Cover up to £200,000 for between 5 and 25 years – you decide.
  • One off cash lump sum – free of personal liability to income and capital gains tax – will be paid out to your beneficiary if you die during the duration of the policy.
  • Monthly payments stay the same throughout the policy life.

  • If you are diagnosed with a terminal illness* your cover will still be paid out.
  • 24/7 worldwide cover against the risk of war and terrorism.

  • Acceptance a certainty (for those aged 18-45) with no lengthy questionnaire.
