I just wanted to let you know how grateful I am for the help you have given us with my SLI365 Policy. Your efficiency and above all, your compassion has been very reassuring and you are a credit to Covéa Life.

Who'd have thought that a policy taken to cover all those dangerous days in Afghanistan would have ended like this? I am finding many of the preparations I made for those trips are helping me face what lies ahead. Please pass on my thanks to your team. With best wishes,

I would like to express my thanks for the SLI briefing at RAF Honington. I can’t believe I was totally unaware of SLI and wish I’d had the information last year when I was the Adjutant on a Squadron at RAF Marham. We deployed to Afghanistan for 4 months and I know our Aircrew would have applied for cover on the spot!

I’ll definitely be passing the word and shall inform my former colleagues on the Flying Squadrons at RAF Marham.

I was diagnosed with cancer 7 months after returning from another deployment to Afghanistan. My family and I then endured 12 months of surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy only to find out that it hadn’t worked and my cancer was now terminal.

I was dreading the whole claims process, having heard the horror stories of companies refusing to pay out until the last minute. This was not the case, Service Life Insurance were simply superb. My Claims Manager at Service Life Insurance was everything we could have hoped for, smoothly processing my claim and keeping us informed at every step. Now we have the money we have bought our first house so we can move out of our quarter and settle into our first home.

In my role, I am responsible for providing business and administrative support to bereaved military families from initial notification through repatriation, funeral and official inquest; until such time as my assistance is no longer required. The role necessitates that I liaise with a myriad of agencies, both within the MoD and externally and it is in this context that I have come into contact with Emma (SLI365 claims officer).

I have found Emma to be a dynamic, passionate and thoroughly dedicated individual whose professional knowledge and experience has been of enormous benefit to me. Emma has my gratitude and trust. I wish to commend her Covéa representation of your organisation and for the service she has provided both to me and to the military families we combine to support.
